Track & Field
Hi, my name is Nick Symmonds. I was born in Blytheville, Arkansas. My sport is Track and Field, and I have been competing in it since I was 13 years old.
My favorite workout is hiking! I am inspired by my mentor, Sam Lapray, and trying to change the sport keeps me motivated.
My favorite food is sushi. I relax by fishing, and love listening to gagster rap.
My pre-competition ritual is Run Gum and EDM.
What's the secret to my success? Persistence.
What Nick says about InHealth
I have felt so fortunate to have InHealth just a few blocks away from where I live in Seattle. Their talented staff have kept me healthy for the past two years. Be it a recurring appointment or an SOS last minute call, the great staff at InHealth clearly understand the need of the elite athlete.
Nick Symmonds is a two time Olympian and six time US Champion at 800 meters. His personal best at that distance of 1:42.95 makes him the third fastest American ever. When not on the track, Nick can be found climbing the mountains and fishing the rivers of the Pacific Northwest.
